Business Architecture Governance Approach Based on the BACOE™ Practice Environment
This document establishes the Business Architecture (BA) governance approach as defined by the Business Architecture Center Of Excellence (BACOE™). It is intended to provide organizations with an operating model for governing Business Architecture as a strategic discipline, not as a support function for technology programs or a base of knowledge reference exercise.
BACOE governance is the mechanism by which Business Architecture becomes explicit, designable, and accountable. It transforms business architecture from a consulting engagement or documentation practice into a repeatable, evidence-based organizational capability aligned to strategic outcomes.
